I posted a gallery of these to the Fool recently, and I decided it was time to give a little bit of background on the photos.

I love this park. It’s a really nice bit of green space in the middle of Downtown Houston. We were there in the winter, so they still had a skating rink set up in the park. There’s lots of public art, live music several times a week, free fitness classes – something that downtown really needed, and I hope that the funding doesn’t dry up so this park can really take off.
We started off the night downtown at a nearby Italian place that Laura loves before we headed over to Disco Green to wander around and have a drink upstairs at the Treehouse. (The Grove? Overrated, with awful food. The Treehouse? Awesome vibe, DJ spinning Chill music, great drinks & view.)
The night is memorable because this is when it really clicked with me that yeah, I’m in love with Laura, so just let it happen already.
